Darn Good BBQ Burgers


1 pound ground beef

1 tbs Darn Good Seasoning (All-Purpose or Cajun, both work well!)

1 tsp minced garlic

1 egg

1/4 cup Italian Style bread crumbs

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1/4 cup Darn Good Barbecue sauce


Preheat grill or grill pan. Mix all ingredients except for the sauce in a medium bowl. (Using your hands to mix is the best way to fully incorporate everything!) Form patties. One pound of beef will usually give you 4 good sized patties. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. Brush with Darn Good BBQ Sauce in the last 3 minutes of cooking.

2 rabbits, cut into pieces

1 cup vegetable oil

½ cup all purpose flour

2 cups finely diced onions

1 cup finely diced celery

½ cup finely diced bell pepper

3 cloves minced garlic

2 cans Rotel diced tomatoes

1 can tomato paste (6 oz.)


3 tbsp. Darn Good Hot Sauce

1 tbsp. lemon juice

3 bay leaves

1 cup dry sherry

½ cup finely sliced green onions

½ cup finely chopped parsley

Darn Good Seasoning to taste 

First, wash the rabbit pieces well and remove all the fat.  Trim away and discard the belly parts and rib bones.  Then sprinkle the pieces liberally with Darn Good and a little bit of cayenne pepper if you want extra kick. 

Next, in a 12 inch skillet, heat half of the vegetable oil to “hot” and quickly fry the rabbit pieces until they brown thoroughly.  Then set them aside for awhile. 

Now take the remainder of the vegetable oil, add it to the skillet you used to fry the rabbit, and bring it up to high heat.  Then toss in the flour and make a peanut colore...

Peeled raw shrimp

Darn Good All Purpose Batter

Bottle of Darn Good Hot Sauce

(Amount depends on amount of shrimp)


Take 2 ziplock bags, add batter to one and hot sauce to the other.

Take shrimp and place in ziplock with batter and just shake it. (If shrimp was frozen or if you wash them pat them dry with a paper towel)

Drop in deep fryer or pot of oil at 350 degrees and cook for 3 to 5 minutes.

Remove from oil and put on some paper towels and let grease drain for a few minutes

Place cooked shrimp in ziplock of hot sauce and just shake it. 

Serve with some celery and enjoy!

  • Vegetable oil for frying

  • 2 pounds chicken wing pieces

  • 1 bottle of Darn Good Hot Sauce

  • 1 Package of Darn Good All Purpose Batter


  • Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 350 degrees F 

  • Fry chicken in the hot oil, working in batches, until no longer pink in the center and is crispy on the outside, 10 to 15 minutes per batch. Transfer chicken to a paper towel-lined plate using a slotted spoon; set aside until cool enough to touch.

  • Put chicken in a large resealable bag; add the Darn Good Hot Sauce, seal the bag, and shake until wings are coated.

  • Enjoy!

1/4 stick of butter

1 1/2 cup chopped onions

1 cup chopped celery

2 medium green peppers, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce

1 cup water

2 tsp. chopped parsley

1 1/2 tsp. Darn Good Seasoning All Purpose or Cajun Seasoning

2 TBS Darn Good Hot Sauce

2 bay leaves

1 lb shrimp

3 cups hot cooked rice



Add butter to saucepan. Add chopped onions, celery and green peppers and saute until well done. Add water and tomato sauce. Cook 1/2 hour on medium heat. Add the rest of the ingredients and cook for 25 minutes. Serve over rice.

2 cans cream of chicken soup 2 cups onion, chopped 2 small bell peppers, chopped 2 cups uncooked rice 2 lbs. ground meat, crumbled and cooked-- season with Darn Good Seasoning while cooking 



Mix soup, onion, green peppers, rice, ground beef in a 3 quart casserole dish. Cover tightly with

foil. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 375 degrees. Midway through, stir completely so that the rice at the top

can go to the bottom.
